Art After Dark
Design
Visual Feeder partnered with the Lincoln Park Chamber of Commerce to support a neighborhood-wide initiative celebrating local creativity, public art, and community engagement. The project brought together artists, businesses, and vacant storefront spaces to create a cultural experience that reflected the character and energy of Lincoln Park.
Vacant storefronts throughout the neighborhood were transformed into illuminated public art installations featuring work by local artists, including some of Chicago’s most prominent muralists. By placing artwork directly into storefront windows, the activation turned underutilized spaces into accessible galleries that could be experienced by pedestrians after dark.

The project celebrated Chicago’s creative community while encouraging residents and visitors to explore Lincoln Park in a new way. The illuminated installations created unexpected moments of discovery throughout the neighborhood, helped activate the streetscape after business hours, and turned vacant storefronts into vibrant cultural touchpoints that supported local artists and strengthened the neighborhood’s identity.
